What a gorgeous day yesterday!  We drove through the "Valley of Fire", a Nevada State Park, and saw some of the most incredible scenery. I've tried to find a way to attach a link to my photo album so that you can see all the pictures if you want to, but without success.  If anyone out there has any ideas, please share.  Meanwhile, I've attached a few pics, to give you an idea of the beauty of the area.  When we first left the main road, we were a little disappointed - couldn't figure out why it was made a State Park, then suddenly went around a corner, and there it was, and it just kept getting better as we got closer to the rock formations.  At one point, we climbed about 50 stairs to get to the rock art left by the people who inhabited the area over time.  It also gave us some beautiful views.  We also spotted a big horn sheep which I guess is pretty unusual.  I thought he'd run off by the time we stopped the truck, but we tracked him down and got a picture.  The park is only about an hour from here, and we wouldn't have even known about it if we hadn't seen a small sign on our way to Hoover Dam last week.  Needless to say, we're going to start paying more attention to State Parks.
Meanwhile, the weather continues to be outstanding - not to mention HOT.  It was 92 today, and it must still be mid 80s outside right now (9:30pm).  Today we saw the first storm clouds since we arrived.  A couple of times the sun went behind the clouds, but not for long.  I can honestly say that's the first time that's happened.  So far, it's been continual sun from sunrise to sunset every day.
Today was pretty much a down day.  We worked on cleaning the outside of the camper this morning, ran some errands, did laundry, etc.  I know, every day can't be a vacation, right?
