This incredible national monument is located in northern Arizona. Once again, it's difficult to capture the enormity of it in photos. The ground all around is flat - except for this plateau that runs for miles and miles.
It's times like this that I wish we were able to hike/climb, as there's so much more to see when you're closer. Elevations range from 3100' to 7100' feet.
The last photo shows the "cliff dwellers", people who make their homes at the base of the monument.
