We found a very nice campground NE of Tampa called the Bay Bayou Campground. We've made reservations to stay there for the winter next year. Lots of activities, people are very friendly, and it's reasonably close to MacDill AFB hospital, commissary, etc.

While in Florida, we watched a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. That was awesome. Just stopped on the side of the road and watched..
And visited Clearwater Beach, one of our favorite places.
