Sunday we took the Wisconsin Dells boat tour. It was a beautiful tour, and at one point we got off the boat and explored some incredible rock formations. We had already bought our tickets and boarded the boat when it started to sprinkle, then it just stayed cloudy for most of the trip. Toward the end, we could see the storm coming, so we moved below deck for the rest of the tour. At that point, the skies opened up, and by the time we caught the shuttle back to the parking lot, we were pretty drenched. But that's OK, we've been really lucky with the weather since we started out.
Once we got home and dried off somewhat, we went out to the Moose Jaw restaurant. The delivery vehicles were worth the trip. And inside, it looked a lot like Bugaboo Creek, so we felt right at home!
Yesterday we spent all morning washing the camper and truck. Not exciting, but definitely needed. Then we traveled around to see a little more of the area, picked up some fresh corn on the cob, grilled and ate outside. As usual, Mike beat me at dominos, and we called it a day.
Today we drove to Carlock IL. Yes, Carlock. We're staying at Kamp Komfort, and it's near Springfield, so tomorrow we're going to the Abraham Lincoln Library/Museum. I think that'll be really interesting.
Only 3 more days till we see Jordan, Becca, and Jared. Can't wait!
