Doesn't seem possible over a week has gone by since my last post, but it's been pretty busy - good busy.
We left Carlock, IL on Thursday, July 25th. We ended up staying an extra day just because we felt like we needed some down time. And we did.
Next stop was St Peter, MO, on our way to Whiteman AFB, (Warrensburg) MO to see Jordan, Becca, and Jared. We arrived there Friday, July 26th, and had a wonderful weekend hanging out with them. Jordan and Becca make a great couple, and we can't say enough about how proud we are of them and what great parents they are to Jared. He's a very lucky boy. And what a sweetheart! Such a happy baby.

We stayed at Knob Noster State Park campground. It was the first time we used our fresh water tank, as there was no water hookup there. But we did have electricity, so we were fine. It was really a very pretty park/campground, and it was just a couple of miles from Jordan's so that made it really handy.
We stayed there until yesterday, Tuesday, July 30th, when we drove to the FAMCAMP at Offfutt AFB, (Bellevue), NE. We have a nice level site away from the base, so it's pretty quiet, but still close enough to check out the commissary/exchange, etc. We reserved an extra day, so we won't be leaving until Friday morning. From here, we're really just focused on getting to the Black Hills in the Rapid City area of South Dakota. We plan on spending about a week there, as there's lots to see and do.
